Kratos Awarded $4.9 Million Contract with U.S. Army

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (KTOS) announced on May 15 that the company’s Defense and Rocket Support Services division received a contract with the U.S. Army. The $2.2 million base contract is for the development of a Tethered High-power-microwave Recorder and Electronic Attack Threat (THREAT) system. The system will be employed at the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Test and Evaluation Science and Technology and the U.S> Army Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEP STRI) located in Orlando, Florida. The contract also includes additional options that could raise the total value to $4.9 million.
